Above center is a photo of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church of Newryabbey in 1590 1690 according to this English map. The Holy cross above the buildings, state just what they are, those of a church ! In recent time and in the face of International Law which forbids it, our council along with N.Ireland Heritage who with the aid of Lottery fundings and a blind eye from world monument protection, they turned this Irish medieval church into a fake Castle of the English realm. The church building's in the above picture still stand today on your right hand side as you enter the grounds to Lidl in Newry. As you can see the left part of the building has a great arch in it, this arch can still be seen today along with the many other Cistercian built arches and other related features. The church was mutilated & a mass burial which was found in its floor desecrated !! Along with the out right destruction the recorded history of this great Abbey church was redifined at a cost of Ł2.5 million, Ł1 million of this rate payers money. Newry & Mourne says the fake Castle was built brand new in or about 1568_1670 give or take a hundred years. No plans or documents exist for such a building. No ordinance survey maps have any mention of the supposed Castle it either. The real Newry Castle Can be found here.

The oldest building of our Newryabbey has been disfigured & daubed as an English Castle which was never built. Winston Churchill once said: "Most people, sometime in their lives, stumble across truth. Most jump up, brush themselves off, and hurry on about their business as if nothing had happened." He Continued "Just as a bell that has been rung, real truth cannot be "unrung",and the annoying problem with the truth is that,once you learn it, you can not "unlearn" it. A pat on the back for Sir Richard Needham , & Ken Pullin the men who eventually spluttered their true beliefs.
